I had not heard this until recently. Great take on the Hawaiian steel in tango, arrangements, and playing.

Same here! I believe I have a piece by this group on a Hawaiian comp but I did not know that was Aleman on guitar. I have only listened to a little bit of this video but look forward to sitting down with it. What I have heard is fantastic. What a treasure. Thank you for posting!

Glad you guys are enjoying it. Aleman's a monster player for sure, his accompaniment playing on here is fantastic. There's a tune on here, Criollita, written by Lobo that features him playing melody on uke (or cavaquinho?) rather than steel and you can hear he's no slouch either!.
