I've seen/heard a few attempts at analyzing/recreating the enigmatic chord at the start of A Hard Day's Night, with various claims of accuracy, but this one seems to have pretty much nailed it:

You may think it's irelevalant and even laughable, but since years I touched my acoustic guitar in the open position I thought it was the Hard Days chord. Maybe they are are the same notes, but off course in a different key.

You can't get the sound quite that close with a right handed bass.
