Hey, the fine folks at Enduro Coffee Roasters in Ft. Worth, Texas have just introduced a steel guitar-branded roast of coffee called "Steel Bender". I gotta admit that I ordered it at first because I love the label art and also wanted to thank them for taking an interest in our instrument. So I ordered 2 lbs of it. And, wow! I actually love this coffee and drink it every morning since it arrived! I didn't want to post about them until I was sure that the coffee was as good as the label but now that I know that it is, I can heartily recommend them to my steel buddies. In fact, I just put in my order for 2 lbs more. If you're a coffee drinker, go get you some! www.endurocoffee.com Smile

Talked me into it Jim, ordered 2 pounds ... Loved Speedy Gonzales and his little friend and a bonus that he plays Steel ... Still it's about three times as much per pound as my normal San Fransisco Bay Coffee ... Yet I've always loved Sumatra Coffee.

I'm going to try it Jim. The coffee we get now is from a big box store of some type (?) on the outer banks N.C.
The "picker" in the picture looks like I feel sometimes.
Hmmmm, could be a song in there somewhere?
Thanks!

I like that, too! I got some a while back from Ben Waligoske. Texas coffee and Texas bourbon pair pretty well together!

I may at some point try the steel bender coffee but here in south Louisiana there is only one coffee.
Dark Roast Community. After one road trip up the Eastern coast in the '70s we made sure we carried enough to get us through however long subsequent trips were. IMHO (possibly environmentally influenced )Although I did find a few decent cups of Cuban brews in New York City. Laughing Very Happy

Billy, Was first introduced to community coffee years ago in Alexandria La. at a wedding reception. I was very impressed. As a kid, rode with daddy across La. to Tx and back many times, same story over and over again bout "that good coffee" all the way to Beaumont.Still plan to try some Steel Bender soon.
