Hey all you jazz lovers.
My favorite jazz club in manhattan is Smalls. Since Covid, they have stayed open by steaming every show, 2 shows a night.
But the really incredible thing is that they have streamed and archived EVERY performance since 2007 and you can view the entire archive for a one time donation of $10. ( I gave them $50 to support the cause) . All money raised is divided with the musicians based on their view count
You can search by instrument, performer, date, Fantastic service.

Bill, what a cool thing. I'll check it out..
I hope other clubs can figure out this technology--fantastic way to spread around some cheddar to the musicians.
I hope it is wildly sucessful.
