I just watched this video on mixing in Cakewalk. For a beginner like me, I learned a lot. I think it is well worth watching. You can skip ahead to the beginning.

I've been using Cakewalk (Sonar) for 15 years. I've tried ProTools and a couple others. I also have Studio One but Cakewalk does almost everything for me. However, I master with Izotope Ozone.

I learned a lot about how the processes work in a DAW by watching this video. I really like Cakewalk, for what I do it's all I need.

Norman,

Robert McClellan is an excellent communicator. I find information of value in every video of his I watched.

Robert recently posted a 46 minute condensed and edited version of Mixing A Song From Start To Finish. Here is a link to the edited video https://youtu.be/RBqF8yaZ2lY.
