So sorry to hear of Mr. Tuttle's passing. I didn't know him, but I always liked to see his comments on topics and particularly enjoyed his PSG playing ability. I had commented at times on his renditions of songs he did on you tube, always had a great touch on the steel. He seemed like such a gentleman; certainly he will be missed here on the forum. My condolences to all his friends and family. Roger |

I am so sorry to learn of Ernie's passing. Mr. Tuttle and Roy Gainey, Oscar and I used to go to a nursing home in Kershaw, SC and play and sing for the patients there. Ernie was a true gentleman. He worked on a Sho-Bud I used to have as I visited him in his home near Camden/Lugoff, SC. He played a beautiful natural maple colored Mullen steel that was out of this world. Rest in Peace Ernie. I plan to see you again in a far better country! _________________ CLR Custom SD10 Pedal Steel; Telonics 500-B Combo w/ TT 15"; Hilton Low Profile VP; Telonics X-10 Pup; Frenchy's Steel Mill Strings; George L's Cables; BJS Tone Bar; Hoffmeyer Picks. I met Ernie sometime around '68. He was always good company. I kept up with him as long as he moved around North Carolina. He worked for Leonard Stadler for a while. I discovered him again when my band played in Charleston, S. C. He and his sweet wife Donna were always welcoming. The old friends are best. Rest in peace, Ernie. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Harlow Dobro |
