Hey Tom; I tabbed a whole version of the song in my E13+9 non pedal tuning....but if you look at it; it is exactly a pedal steel guitar E9 tuning from string 3 to 9 with only an extra C# string in there; or just push 1st pedal for that C#...and if the b string and C# string are played the same time just use the C# string and choose the string under the B. Here ya go>

From a historical perspective, there are at least four recordings of Murphey, each a little different. He uses his unique F#9 tuning. The bottom string on the tab is a reentrant A# on an unwound string whose pitch is between the G# and the C#. I have been working on this today and there are a couple of tab changes that I would make but it is pretty right. The slant 9th chord on the top three strings (common to C#m) is in tune because the intervals ensure that it is symmetrical.
