Very sad to hear. I used to lay in bed at night & listen to Nic's playing, and we were Facebook friends. _________________ A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag. |

I remember reading Charles' announcement last year that Nic was bedfast. I was sorry to hear of his respiratory ailment and sorry to read of his subsequent passing.
Nic was a unique character and a professional in the music world. In the week I spent with him in class at Jeffran, I learned how intelligent and educated, both academically and musically, he was.
I am sad to have lost another steel friend.
Condolences to Nic's family and friends. |

Some confusion on when Nic died but that doesn't affect the loss we have had. _________________ Charles Tilley ,

Rest in peace Nic. Very sad to read this. I've been dreading this news since I heard through here that he was bedridden. Nic was incredibly helpful and generous a few years back when I was starting out. We then lost contact and I knew his health was going downhill. My sincere condolences to his family. |
