I downloaded one of the 'clean' settings from the cloud and tweaked it with the EQ, then stored it. It's about all I ever use. I love the Bluetooth thing for playing along and as a remote speaker for listening to any thing from music to ball games. Great unit. |

Go on the cloud and search steel guitar. It will take you to my setting. But you’ll still have to tweak. The head phone Jack out sounds different compared to using the speakers. But my setting will get you close. Then tweak away.
This sample is with the speakers vs. the last sample I did direct. Short C6 sequence.

Got mine two days ago, 18 day turnaround. I'll be using it for band rehearsal, 11 pounds vs my 43 pound Peavey Nashville 112, here's a quick tone test on my Justice Pro Lite, not my best work but wanted you all to hear the tone I got just using the knobs, no tone studio tweaking. I've only been playing for a bit more than three years.

Good tones Bruce. Was it direct recorded or is that it's own speakers? |

Thanks Bruce. That's a good tone for 4 inch speakers. Those little amps are surprisingly decent. |

I’m really liking my Spark 40. It can be very loud if you want it to be. Those two 4†speakers can be extremely loud at 3-4 feet. It will fill up a bedroom sized practice room.
If you need a case for your Spark, here is a suggestion - Husky brand zip up tool bag from Home Depot, the large one. They are currently selling them as a set, 1 - Large & 2 - Small for $29.95. It works.

I played with another feature of the Spark amp. It lets you choose a rhythm player. Once you enter the speed, it counts you off and then listens for your progression as you play (easier with guitar vs. steel but works). After a couple bar it stops and computes a rhythm section of bass and drums. It does this through your cell phone app blue toothed through the amp.
This allows you to practice with the amp. I put in a basic Tulsa Time progression as it is a good warmup. I should have turned the steel down some so the bass track would stand out.

Here's a reply I made to a fellow SPARK owner to help him tweak it.
Do you have it set on "acoustic" not "Clean"? You would think clean was the way to go but not true for me.
Also, did you go to the cloud to try out my settings? Search "Hogan" and it should pull up about 5 tones/amps.
Every time you turn the SPARK off, it will return back to where the knobs were originally from my original saved settings. You have to move the particular knob to a different location to change the setting to your liking.
Of course, turn either bass or and highs up and down. Remember that the speakers sound different vs. just using the headphone jack. The HP jack sound has more highs, so adjust accordingly.
