Hey Y'all,
A lot of people were asking for a further "Mic'ed Up" video of the Hudson Pedabro as per my unboxing video. Here's a little demo to an old tune of mine showing the sound both mic'ed up and with the resonator pickup.

That thing is so cool Steven, and nice licks too! To my ear, the mic'ed sound is much better. It sounds more like a Dobro. |

Thanks all! Really appreciate the compliments on my playing. I agree, I prefer mic'ing as a standard but that's my opinion for all acoustic instruments. I'm a hack at playing the Mandola but when I do...I mic up.
Michael, these cost about the same as an average new D10, although cheaper models can be built too. Mine is top spec. All Pull, 10 strings, D9 tuning. He also builds Pull Release models and ones with less strings, although I did see someone enquire about a 12 string model so mine might not be the top spec model for too long. Jimmie is very accommodating to people's needs. _________________ 25 year old wannabe.
