Paul, All I know about the song is back about 1983 I attended one of Jeff Newmans week long seminars and this one Buddy was teaching c6th. The last item on the agenda was learning a song called Jeffran Blues. I assume Buddy wrote it, maybe with Jeffs help, not sure. But it was more of a little end of class ditty-song, so Im not sure it was ever recorded anywhere except that class. I have a cassette of the song and I have the first page of tab, but am missing the rest of the song. I know that there are a few players out there that may have attended one of Buddys seminars there. So just looking !1 Thanks!

I was there in 1982-3. I still have all of the papers. I will dig them out and let you know what I find.

Great memories!

Thanks Bud. Yes it was a great time for sure. Well if you do find that tablature for the song would be great. I have every bit of the course like you, except I have only the first page of that song. It doesnt denote the page number anywhere on it, so Im not sure how many pages total, but the "in class" recording, the song is longer than the one page of tab that I have....If you do find it, I would be certainly glad to compensate you for it! Thanks, MIke

Hey, Bud!

Could you possibly send me copies of the class tab and any audio, as well? I'm collecting copies of Buddy's class material for eventual posting on the website.

Thank you!
