Hello ihave a fender 400 8 string with 4 foot pedals i would if you guys would help me tunr it into a C6th pedal steel no knee levers i need a chart that shows the tuning and what each floor pedal would do as far as raising and lowering the string to what all i need is a basic no frills C6th set up thanks

I personally would use the Emmons copedent (scroll down on that page), pedals 5-8, without the low F and C strings. Pedal 5-6 are your bread and butter in C6, and will do 99% of what you need. The 7 pedal can be useful for some flashy licks, and 8 saves you a reverse slant that I can never get in tune.

Maybe read his reply again. 10 strings minus the low F and C strings = 8 strings. Pedals 5 through 8 = 4 pedals.
