I see on facebook we have lost one of the best steel guitar players and a really nice person. Jack Williams was a friend to many players as well as other musicians. This is sad news to me and will be to many others.

I got a call this afternoon from a friend who told me about Jack. He was a dear friend, this really hurts. He is now playing beautiful music in heaven.

So sorry to hear. Everyone who knew Jack, loved him. A really great man; not to mention his expertise on steel. He will be missed.
