For sale is a black D-10 8x4. Copedent is Emmons - see chart. Comes with original case, which is in great shape. Includes Emmons volume pedal. The guitar is pretty near original, and has 2 spare bellcranks.

Serial # 1742 D, which dates it back to around 1973.

Asking price is <strike>$3500</strike> $3200 plus actual shipping costs. Payment by cash, Paypal, Apple Pay or Zelle.

Sorry - no trades. Questions are welcome - thanks

That's a cool horn you're selling there Carl. Is that the gloss-black mica or the satin-mica..?? I really liked both.

The Emmons guitars of that vintage sounded great. I know, I had an early '73 Rosewood D-10 (satin mica / brown badge / wide pedal spacing) that I wish I still owned.

Someone will get an awesome sounding horn with this guitar. Good luck with your sale.

Hi Tiny,

It's a satin mica. It sure is a nice horn, but I have too many guitars and not enough gigs! Playing more mandolin, dobro, and E9, but I have another D-10 here I'm keeping to help get my C6 chops going.

Thanks Kevin.

I'd keep it, but I have too many right now.

The next owner will be happy with this guitar.

I have 1524D Rosewood w/wooden necks like the one Sonny Garrish used to play. What would that make it? Around '71 or so? I haven't played it in years. Had to look for it so I could find the serial #. It might show up in the For Sale section at some point

Price lowered to $3200. It's a wonderful instrument. When I bought it I took it to Dana Flood in Bangor, Me for setup work.

I'll be in New Jersey Thursday; save on shipping. Any takers ?

Pretty near original - LKL is a non Emmons, and the RKR is one that is missing the flip down seen on some right knees. And non original strings.
