This steel did wonderful last night. I think the tone is great played on my Katana 100 combo. This is my first and only new one known Fred for a long time they do very good work and back every thing very well. I'm not a great player but I enjoy every second of it. Ordered it was told it would be done about Aug. 1. Their service is as good as it gets. Thank you Fred and Ron Ispent 2 hrs. on it today have a gig in a park square Sat. evening. Wes

Slick guitar! Congrats. IMO Fred is one of the few current builders that makes a very good sounding guitar. They are consistent in good tone which is a huge accomplishment. I haven't heard a bad one yet. Of course tone is subjective but if you like an emmonsy growl the Justice has it in spades. They play nice and positive too.

Thank you Leo. I'm not a great player I do every thing pretty simple. I've been in a cowboy church band for ten and a half years. I was raised on old 3 chord honky tonk so I do a lot of old Hank and etc. Wes

It's good that Fred doesn't make u-12s, because if he did I'd have to buy one, and I don't have room in my house for another steel. Laughing

I’m getting one soon. I’m having Ron do a couple customizations for me but am getting the basic 2+1 model. I wanted something VERY simple for specific applications and wanted to check it out so I could recommend it to the new players I seem to be encountering lately. Very affordable, high quality and expandable as a player progresses in knowledge. A very good idea and, at the base price, more marketable than previous “student steels”. In a few weeks I will post details.

Great looking steel, I like the color choice. 3 pedals and 1 knee will get you a long way.
