I started to change the strings on my Emmons Lashley Legrande II today. After I put on the first string I noticed that it was not lined up over the first magnet on the pickup. It was properly lined up over the magnet on the string that I removed. I'm not sure what happened! The pickup is not loose. In the second pic it looks like the pickup has room to move to the left. I would appreciate any help that I could get. Here are some pics of the problem. Thanks

Hi Jerry,

Hope you're doing well my friend.

It looks like the pickup mounting plate is installed upside down. You'll need to remove the pickup from the plate and lay it aside while you remove the plate, turn it over and reverse the process. Feel free to call me and I'll walk you through it if needed.

Here's the follow up on fixing the string alignment problem over the pickup.

Lynn emailed me instructions on the steps that I needed to take to fix this string alignment problem. I followed them explicitly but I also had a friend of mine do the re soldering of the wires. I haven't done any soldering since I was a teenager! The process worked out great and the string alignment was fixed. Thanks Lynn. Very Happy
