I accompanied my daughter while she sang this to her new husband on her wedding day with this song, then I went home & made it into an instrumental...hope you like it

Me too, Rene, very much so. This tune, it's worth noting, though, was a Broadway show tune written by Meredith Wilson for the musical "The Music Man" (1957). It was a Top-40 hit for Anita Bryant in 1959 before being covered by the Beatles in 1963 (and, notably--especially for me--
on the Ed Sullivan Show in Feb. 1964). One of the Beatles' IMO many successful cover tunes in their early days. |
