Hugh just built this custom case for my little Emmons Black Rock. It turned out beautifully. Hugh even made blocks for the intricacies of the changer that bolts directly to the body rather than an aluminum base or neck and everything is precise and fits perfectly. Hugh, thank you for your outstanding workmanship.😀

Thanks Erv, Hugh builds fine cases. That’s an original cabin that I restored on my property in the mountains. It remains mostly empty. My wife & I live in a larger, modern cabin at the other end of our yard. We’re located high on the mountain and the wildlife is plentiful. We ignore them and they ignore us however, we’re always watchful.😬

Hugh’s cases are very excellent. He uses rivets instead of wood screws. That’s a big plus for me.

Tom, I feel very fortunate indeed to own a brand new case from Hugh Briley. I’m very impressed with his workmanship. Erv, those critters are a daily occurrence. Last week whenever the UPS delivery man came to the house, he honked his horn and yelled, “you’ll have to come out to the truck and get your package (case) because you have a bear lying on your front porchâ€ðŸ˜‚. I didn’t mind, they never pay attention to us, possibly because we never feed them.

Nice case to be sure!
Up here on the other side of the border in the mountains, we've had a mama bear and three cubs as well as a really hungry male here at the house over the past week. This time of year definitely brings the bears out!
Great pics! Mine have been only off of a security camera and just don't stack up to yours!

Dave, thank you for the compliment on my case. I’m extremely satisfied, Hugh does wonderful work. He’s a true craftsman for sure. We’ve yet to have a mama bear with cubs. We have a couple of male bears that are here year round, probably due to the past mild winters. The Park Rangers tell me that the females will almost always hibernate however, some males do not.
