Not finished yet but soon one is a 7 string with two and two the other is an 8 string two and two both I think around 28 inches long around 8 inches wide I personally like em wide enjoy comments are welcome I made my own everything I mean everything except strings of course . Russ

Nice. I really like that embossed wood look. Great idea.
Is the top wood pine?
Normally pine is not stiff enough but I see you have some good reinforcement underneath that should make up for it. |

thanks for the comments guys , the top on the lighter guitar is pine which works just fine however I did add a little oak wood to the underside along the rails and did the same to the cedar top guitar . On the cedar guitar I added an aluminum plate on each end for support and stiffness ,its all just experimentation and besides its enjoyable to me , I could have built another clone 10 string but I wanted to do something different so I made what I made , I like the woods with a clear finish on them I cleared the underside also. thanks for looking and commenting. russ |
