I just got my new Mod reverb in yesterday, and installed it in my Nashville 112 immediately. What a difference it made.
I now have the reverb sound I wanted all along. Ir reminds me of the sound I had in the 60s.

I had the same experience putting one into a Special 130. Mod makes a great-sounding reverb tank.

Can you buy these for a Peavey Deuce or Artist?

Could you fellahs provide further info on the "Mod reverb" for the NV112 that you refer to?

Is it simply a replacement reverb tank?

Thanks

Some info re: MOD reverb tanks. Don, if you pull your old existing reverb pan, it should have a number on it such as listed in the above link. You can match up the number for a new MOD brand tank.

Otherwise, Ken Fox may know which tank fits the Artist/Deuce.

I don't know if it was the reverb unit itself or the circuitry, but the Artist I had left a lot to be desired in the reverb department. Too bad, 'cause I really liked it for guitar otherwise.

A bit off topic but for those of you who might want to shorten the "tail" of the spring reverb that you have you can do that by inserting a small piece of foam between the pan and the spring. The placement along the spring determines the length of the "tail".

I put this 3 spring MOD tank (vs 2 OEM) in a late model NV112. The improvement is dramatic. The original verb is okay, engaging it thins the tone. Install this and in 5 min you will have a luxurious sounding verb that will bring a smile. Absolutely the best $30 I’ve spent, it would be a deal even at $130.

I am pretty sure that Amplified Parts is the same as Antique Electronics, so you can buy them from either website.

Ron, it's a simple swap out. Unplug the two RCA cables and install the new one, hook up the cables and you're in business. You can just type in Mod reverb on your computer and find the one for your NV112.I got my through Amazon.

My experience seems to be the same as the others here... and in tube amps also. I don't know what's up with modern tanks made by Accutronics, but putting the MOD tanks in seems to improve the reverb in the amps I've tried them in. That even includes a '63 reissue Fender standalone reverb unit.

To my ears, the MOD tank is a huge improvement over the accutronics, better build, and better sound. Great upgrade for the price.
