Does anyone have a owner's manual for the Goodrich steel driver II? Got a used one and not sure how it's operated. Thanks.

They have a website Look up Goodrich volume pedals and get their tel number. They probably can mail you a manual or tell you what you need to know on the phone.

Paul, I will give it a try but most older units were not made available to the new Goodrich Sound. Unless the schematics were available for all their previous devices, they are in the dark. (Like the dobro simulator).

There are 2 controls on the top- tone and distortion, and 2 on the bottom- both volume controls for each side to enable the player to adjust one output vs the other. There is a switch on the front allowing selection between the clean active tone circuit and the distortion circuit. Not much else- 2 9 volt batteries inside and disconnecting the output cable shuts of the batteries.

Jim, thanks. That's the info I needed. I have considered adding an on off switch and Led light but the unit has very little room for extra parts. I mainly wanted to confirm the cable to cut out battery drain.
