Hey guys! I hope you won’t mind if I come to you with something a little unusual, but fun in these not so fun times. I think you will get a big kick out of this! If this is out of line, Bob, feel free to remove.
Palomino is my new graphic novel and it's a super fun neo-noir LA crime story, which takes place in 1981 in the lost subculture of LA’s Country music clubs, AND HAS A STEEL PLAYER AS IT’S MAIN CHARACTER! But before anything else, I want to address the question on everyone’s mind. WHY NOW, IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC? Because 100% of the funds raised go to our North American printers, and without them and just a handful of companies like them in the US and Canada (which is the case here), the comics ecosystems--stores included--cannot exist. So let’s keep our manufacturing going, yes?
Yet, these times are tough for everyone, so this may not be the right time for everyone to pre-order a graphic novel, and that is well understood, and that is not really the point of this message. I just wanted to alert you to this book, and If nothing else, just check out the video trailer and the KS page because I think you guys will really get a kick out of it!

What else can I tell you about PALOMINO? At the center of the story is a unique father-daughter relationship. Eddie Lang’s an ex-cop turned working musician with big dreams, but dreams don’t pay the rent. So Eddie reluctantly works as a private investigator to provide for his teenage daughter, Lisette. Eddie and Lisette share an unbreakable bond and a dry sense of humor. But they’re stuck. They’re haunted by a terrible loss and an unsolved crime that looms large over their lives. They’re running out of time to fix their family. And just as things seem at a stalemate, a new murder case upends their lives.
So there you have it: a really fun book with a hard-boiled, crime fighting steel player, and some awesome art prints featuring some PSGs!

Only word of warning, PALOMINO is rated R (some language, violence, moderate sexyness… like you would see on an HBO show.)

I would love a print of the picture of the Palomino Club with the early 70's late 60's Chevy pulling in, your perspectives are vert appealing and accurate, looking forward to the series and like Jim I've been unexposed to this form, but love it.

Interesting concept and story but why trash it up with filthy language? I didn't get very far into the story before I was completely turned off and quit reading.
It is a poor statement the writer makes about himself when he chooses to write from the gutter. |

Hey guys! Thank you for the responses, and thank you for ordering!
Let me try to address the various questions?
-The T-shirts currently offered with the campaign are based on my previous series SILVER (check it out if you like stories about con men and vampires). I'm hoping we can have Palomino-based shirts, and to make those PSG centric, but the current situation being what it is, I need to make sure we can insure the manufacturing of the new shirts. If we can, they will be offered as "add ons" that you are able to select at the end of the campaign when you fill in your delivery info.
-Although I have been a Steel Forum lurker for years, I am only a lowly tele player  so I may get some of the gear slightly wrong! I'm trying tho!
-Just want to remind again that this is a rated R story, or like a True Detective type story on HBO. So there is some mild nudity, very mild drug use, and a lot of swearing. If this is not for you, I completely respect it, and wish to warn you going in 
-Let me know if I missed anything!

I am a visual person and think the artwork is tremendous, always have been a fan of LA during that period and a huge Rockford Files fan, not a comic book fan but the story line is very interesting to me and your details are really spot on. You have a good eye!

Hi Jim. I just added a reward tier on the page, where you can just order one art print. You will be able to specify which one at the end of the campaign when they ask for your info, as well as to add more of the prints then if you wish. Thank you!
