I hope this is appropriate to post here. While sequestered, I recorded a new version of a song I wrote years ago. It's not a lap steel instrumental, but there is lap steel throughout and a brief instrumental part. The lap steel is one of Johnny King's creations. I recorded it direct and the tone didn't come out as nice as I'd hoped. Next time I'll try recording with my amp. I'm really more of an acoustic player. Still trying to get control of all that sustain.
