DEAL PENDING FOR AUBREY

Up for your consideration is a very special piece of Emmons guitar history. This is one of, if not THE very last, Emmons push pull guitar ever made in 1989 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Emmons guitar company...well after regular production of the push pull had already ceased. Only four or five of these guitars were made and this one has spent its entire life in a case unplayed up until about 6 months ago when I got it. It literally looks brand new. Asking $5500 plus shipping.

It is also the guitar that Emmons production manager Jack Strayhorn referred to as follows:

"I remember vividly how this was the absolute greatest sounding guitar I had ever heard!" and "Finest push pull in existence and it's all original, like new, and no rebuild. If I were a push pull guy this guitar would have never been on the market."

Mighty high praise considering how many guitars Jack built, heard, and played at Emmons. Detailed copedant can be seen in the original for sale ad by the original owner's son. Note, the 1st string F# raises to G# now. It’s a standard e9 Emmons setup as far as changes go, but the knee levers are a bit different than what I’ve played in the past. Took me all of an hour to get used to it and now I prefer it that way!

More info on the '89 Anniversary guitars can be found here: https://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/006644.html

I've owned some amazing guitars, to include a Legrande II, Show Pro, Mullen G2, Mullen Discovery, and even one of the last Zumsteels ever made, and this guitar blows them all away in my opinion.

So, why am I selling? Regrettably, I don't play C6 and I can hardly play E9, so I would be just as well served by a basic S10 that I can continue to learn on. But mostly I could use the money to pay down some debt.

Just buy it quick before I change my mind (again).

Best,
Chris
