Looking for a squareneck tricone either for sale or trade. Something 'lower end' would be ideal, actually. I'm not looking for a vintage or collectors piece, it just needs to be in good playing shape.
Got one you're ready to let go of? |

Still looking. Will possibly consider a round neck if the deal is right. |

Check out Elderly Instruments and Musicians Friend. Both have some very good low-end tri-cones (Dean, Johnson, Regal, Recording King, others). Wooden and metal body. It is best to get a round neck and use and extension nut to raise strings. You can always play bottle neck style with round neck. Square neck will limit you both in playing and re-selling.
Thanx,
Jim
PS- if possible play one before buying. These are prone to have rattles and buzzes. _________________ Jim Bates, Alvin, Texas
