Hello All,
I know some of you folks from Texas have been enjoying this young mans singing for a while
there in Texas but the word is getting out now. I run across this yesterday & WOW -
this guy has got it - I mean the Geo Jones Honky Tonk style
of music & singing.
I know it will be hard for him to get national airplay BUT I do believe if enough folks
call in to the radio stations we can help him to get played.

Turn your speakers up LOUD & give him a listen.
I think you might like what you hear - I know I sure do !!
ENJOY … Ron

This young guy sounds amazingly like Jones. If that's your bag, more power to you.

This is great, both singing and production. Of course, lots of attention will be on his ability to get to the heart of Jones. But listening through his material, it's clear he has his own voice too.

His website has this CD for $15 - https://www.jasonjamesband.com/ - hit the Music tab. It says forum member Geoff Queen played electric guitar and steel on this session. Nice playin', Geoff.

I had the pleasure of playing on this record, and yes Jason can nail the Jones thing when he wants to! I believe he wrote all of the songs too, he is a talented guy.

I play with Jason when I get the chance. He is great.

Will Van Horn played on the tracks that Steve didn't on that first record.

Very similar at times, best part is the style of music he sings, real country!

I know this thread is a couple months old, but I just discovered this artist - heard one song on Sirius and looked him up on YouTube. Just an awesome departure from what gets passed off as country music these days - this is the real thing and well worth a listen!

So for those who, like myself, may not have seen this first time around, here's a bump to the top. This YouTube will take you to a playlist for his "Seems Like Tears Ago" CD, which I really need to get for my truck!

Wasn’t George Jones just Lefty Frizzell reincarnated? I definitely hear the influence.

Thanks for pointing this guy out to us, I hadn't heard of him. I just got his new album from his website. Fantastic singing and the steel player is great. His site only mentions show dates in Texas right now. Be great to see him.
