I don't usually cross post, but maybe some of you didn't see my Wanted To Buy ad elsewhere on the forum. I love my little red 6-string Rick and recently became aware that they made an 8-string version. They were made in the '50s and maybe into the '60s. Anybody have one that they are willing to sell?
Prefer red over gray, but as long as it's playable...

A few years back, I was in Petaluma, CA and sitting in the window at Tall Toad Music was a Fender Deluxe 8 and a Ric S8 like the pic except grey. I bought the Fender. It might be worth checking to see if it’s there, it’s probably long gone but wouldn’t hurt to inquire. Good luck! I love that era and model of Rickenbacker. |

Odd that I missed it. Whenever I'm in Petaluma, I make it a point to check out the steels at Tall Toad. For a while they had my old Emmons S-12 pedal steel there on consignment. They always have interesting instruments. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
