This is a pretty cool little steel with a nice looking (and intact) dark green MOTS covering. Pickup measures open so the MOTS above it will need to be cut to get it out. It looks to me like the pickup cover would conceal most of that surgery. Tuner buttons turned to dust long ago. Case is pretty baked but the latches work and it has a nice handle. Like I said, a Project. With the string-through bridge setup so close to the end of the guitar, this is one of the shortest 22.5" scale steels you'll see. I have another one of these that fits beautifully into an overhead compartment when flying. Asking what I paid for it: $65.00 plus shipping from MD 21740. Let me know your zip code to estimate shipping. SOLD ON REVERB

Cool! Can you give me a weight estimate?
Also, an academic question just in case you might know. The peghead logo is "Oahu Publishing Co", which I found intriguing. Was this a sheet music publisher back in the day that made the instruments on the side? Pardon my ignorance, but I thought this fascinating.

Mark,
Shipping weight is 8.5 lbs. A shipping estimate to the Northwest was $36. I expect from MD to CA would be similar. Here's a pretty neat thread about the Dickerson/Oahu/Magnatone guitars:
