There are so many, but one of the first to really make me sit up and take notice was Buddy's work on Judy Collins' Someday Soon. A close 2nd would be Rusty Young on the Springfield's Kind Woman. Both just gorgeous.

I love Curly's Early Morning Rain, nice arrangement too. we started doing it in one of my bands so I get to try and play it like Curls did. I'm gonna start calling it Curly Morning Rain 
I'm a big fan of Buddy Emmons' C6 instrumentals that are so perfectly designed for the tuning. At E's is probably my favorite, also Kicks To Boot and Four Wheel Drive.
I also love Bud Charleton's Almost To Tulsa, such a cool creation, and another favorite is Rhode Island Red by Jimmie Crawford (with Russ Hicks)

| As for Together Again, Jeff Newman had a Woodshed Workshop of this tune. In the opening remarks of the tab book, he stated that he did not encourage any player to copy someone else’s work note for note. Then he said Tom’s work on Together Again was the exception to the rule. You need to play it just like Tom did. Pretty high praise. |

For me it's Buddy's Christmas Album. It's the pinnacle of technical perfection and musicality.
I also think he had the best tone of his career on that recording.
