I've seen the video.

But what is it? Pedal steel and dobro together?

Judging by the top video on the MSA page it appears to a 6 string steel (probably with a 25-ish inch scale length) with dual humbuckers (probably hot swappable like their other guitars) and maybe with the possibility of adding up to four more strings a là their Superslide guitar.

Veddddyyyy interesting.....

It's actually going to be a 10/6. The front neck is normal E9th with pedals. The back is a non-pedal neck with either a lap steel or dobro tuning. It will have multiple pickups for kap steel and dobro sounds. This is a project of MSA and Travis Toy.

So in that audio clip, it was the six string neck we were hearing? If so, it REALLY sounded like a Dobro.. How was that tone accomplished with a solid body, no resonator, and magnetic pickups??.. bob

It DID sound convincingly authentic. I found those videos to be frustratingly uninformative, except for that fabulous little downward-going trill at 0:21 on the Travis T video. THAT was informative

These are teaser videos of a new guitar that will be coming out soon. Hang in there and we'll see the results when they're ready to release it. It sounds like a great new product from what I heard.
