I found this piece really interesting. I am trying to feel the time signature. Is this in 7?

Unless it morphs later, I hear 4/4 for the first couple of minutes.

I'm weak on rhythm notation and terminology. When I say 4/4, I would describe the music as 16th notes, 16 to a bar, counted as 4/4.

They throw accents around and that usually throws me around but I said 'what if....' and forced a steady foot tap against it.
