I have been twice now, and it is a BLAST! SOOOOO
many good players there! The ELKS Lodge is an outstanding
facility- excellent food menu at below market prices,
and yes- and a full-service bar from 11am on.

If you haven't been- popular backing tracks played thru
a pro P.A., and charts displayed on a Big Screen TV.

Always a great event. A chance to learn and a great hang. Sadly for me I can't make it this time, as I'm recovering from a little surgery.

Another perfect event!

Special thanks to Harvey Hanson and Frank Carter for making this happen so professionally.
( Wonderful playing too, Frank! )

ALL the players sounded GREAT! ( Jay Dee Maness looks younger every year, and this living legend's playing is as strong as ever!)

I am not a pedal steel player, and do not know many of the performers- but if
you played today, please chime in!

Thanks to Harvey, Frank and the Elks folks for putting this on and a special thanks to all the advanced players for sharing their music and advice with the not-so-advanced.

Next jam here is 4/25/20 per Harvey.
