S8 Console KIT 98% complete 22.5 scale GeorgeBoard $499.99 + shipping Sold as is, buyer completes the build.

I've done all of the hard work, the only remaining part is the pickup.
We ran a string on it to test for it's really tight accuracy - this baby chimes out perfectly at 12 - 9 - 24 with loads of sustain.

I will include a Blank Bobbin, with alnico5 magnets, you have it wound and charged by any of the modern pickup winder folks.
It will easily hold the windings for a stringmaster set up, or any your winder may suggest.

I put an Antiqued finish in tinted lacquer and several clear over coats, for a unique visual. Plexi laser etched fretboard 22.5 scale -- brass angle nut and bridge notched for C6 - A6 type tuning strings - string through - all electronics installed and wired for you including a ground from the bridge -- import high quality tuners.

I had to move the control pots so there are 2 little cosmetic blems. Sold as is, buyer completes the build.

Hi George
which pickup would be a direct replacement? no modifications needed in size, depth, etc.

Thanks

The one I am including is the exact fit , 3/8 spacing and correct height under the nut and bridge height.

The little pocket is set to the good depth.

That Bobbin is the exact one I've used for 25 years ,

I just don't have the coins to send it off to my winder at this time, plus he has a backlog and I make KITs now so it has to be able to be customized by the end user.

Any of the modern winders can make it to your specs winding wise.

In the past I've had them wound with the enamel coated wire that was used on Stringmasters , - gauge - winds and so on.
Those came out strong single coil tone and powerful and Fender like --
Except my brass formula produces a very desirable tone and sustain that many have preferred over the more edgy Fender tone with their hardened steel parts.

I'm glad to have my winder do it to my VintageSpec used on hundreds of GeorgeBoards instruments worldwide.
Due to our patents and all of that mumbo jumbo I do not disclose our formula on open forums and such places.

I would need advance payment and your willingness to wait for it to come back to me then shipped to you.
We cannot control the work que of a winder company we have had them done at.
