Greetings all,

This seems like the correct subforum to inquire about this record. Specifically, does anyone know who was behind the steel on this one?

Thanks,
Al

Thanks, Steve. I'll see if I can correlate with some other records of hers.

Steve's right on, that's Pete on that album, and it features mostly his early C6th stylings. That album was made in mid '64, but by the end of that year, Stu Basore became their steeler, and Kitty's next few album and singles releases featured him instead of the studio guys.

We just lost Stu last year. He was a great guy, and like Pete, he also had a really unique touch and style.

Thanks Donny. I appreciate the detail, and hadn't known about Stu's passing.
