Hoping someone has some experience with lacquering an unfinished newish Tweed case. I have two, one lap and one tele case. I've been reading up and have access to lacquer and shellac but could use some advice as I have found several different takes on the steps/methods involved. Some use coat(s) of shellac first, sand in between coats etc. etc.....also how to treat the leather that's on the Tele case?
Thanks in advance, hoping someone has been here, done this.
