I'm trying to help a friend price a bunch of musical equipment from her brothers estate and this cabinet has me stumped. It is loaded with a 15" Peavey Black Widow and has a removable lid held down with 4 latches. It seems very professionally built, but no identifying names or numbers. It's possible he got it local to Charlotte, NC and judging by his collection, he knew his stuff and liked vintage equipment. It is ported, but no horn, so I'm stumped. Any ideas?

That would make sense and it looks right. The top latches definitely match. He also has an Ampeg B-15N head that I assume is to go with the cabinet. Thanks so much! |

If it has the clips (there were different models of this bass amp through the years) like the above it's the Ampeg B15N Portaflex where the amp flips down into the cab and then sits atop when in use.
