I’m getting ready for a trio concert (steel, bass, and drums), so I’ve been making some practice videos. This is Feel Like Making Love, with an Eventide H9 phase shifter, just to help change the sounds a bit during the night.....

As I mentioned on FB, I really love the chord voicings you chose on this. Sounds great! _________________ Chromatic Harmonica, Guitar, and Pedal Steel (Williams U12 Series 700, Emmons lap)

Thanks, Slim - I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment!
I’m really lucky that the 12 string Bb6 tuning fits my thinking so well - I don’t have to work very hard to get the voicings I’m looking for. I’m glad you like them! _________________ Christopher Woitach

Thanks, Steve!!! I think that in small doses some extra effects sound great on steel guitar - it makes you play a little different, and in the setting I’m playing on Sunday, just bass, drums, and steel, it’ll be nice for the audience to change the sound a bit.
Out of 10-11 songs, I plan to use the phase twice, a nice chorus once, and this beautiful effect the H9 has called Shimmer once.
Looking forward to seeing you and hearing you in January, brother! _________________ Christopher Woitach
