Sorry Marc. I edited my post just after you posted you last comment. Leave enough slack in the 9th string lower so that it won't start lowering string 9 until string 2 hits the D note.

What I do on my ShowPro is tune the 2nd string C# lower with the lowering nut on the second string. Then tune the half-stop with the lower rod on the 9th string and then tune the 9th string C# lower with the raise rod.

Oh man, I'm sorry that I'll miss that. I can't get out to the folk fest this year, but have seen Paris and Jason a few times and they never disappoint. Enjoy!
