Sorry Marc. I edited my post just after you posted you last comment. Leave enough slack in the 9th string lower so that it won't start lowering string 9 until string 2 hits the D note. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator. Been on two stages so far, flying this coming weekend for some more. Buying this steel is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Can anyone tell me how to tune the 2nd string half stop (via extra rod on the 9th?) |
What I do on my ShowPro is tune the 2nd string C# lower with the lowering nut on the second string. Then tune the half-stop with the lower rod on the 9th string and then tune the 9th string C# lower with the raise rod. |

That makes sense, thanks Travis! |

Oh man, I'm sorry that I'll miss that. I can't get out to the folk fest this year, but have seen Paris and Jason a few times and they never disappoint. Enjoy! |

Thanks! They’ll be back in Edmonton as a duo in the fall too. |
