Great! Great!
I assumed it was in Viet Nam.
The standup bass was getting with it.

I love the Moon sign in the background.

I haven't seen Moon eyes on a car in years.

Well now you have. I race or used to race Pinewood Derby Cars in a league. This one even has the discs.

It doesn't look like any garage I've ever seen in Viet Nam... Much too neat! Laughing Very Happy

Why assume Viet Nam? The steel guitarist is "Speedy" Kanno. He is a member of the SGF. He's Japanese. The band is Japanese. The garage is in Japan.

You're quite right about the latter, but I believe in that video Speedy is the one slapping the bass.

Cody I am sure you are correct. I have a friend in Japan, who belongs to a Hot Rod Club. Their garage/club house looks very similar to the Garage Band's hangout. The owner of Moon Eyes originally was Dean Moon. The business was then sold to a Japanese hotrod enthusiast. Moon eyes is very big in Japan. At one point they sponsored an NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car.
