Steel Players what do you think of the Live Strings and George L's Strings Stainless Strings, which ones do you think are a warmer sound being the same gauges, 13p 15p 12p 14p 18p 22w 26w 30w 34w 38w I would like some input please. Thank you very much, Have a Blessed Day.

If you buy the Stainless, you will probably not be able to tell the difference.

If you buy the Nickle Live Steel Strings, they might be a little warmer, but nothing noticable.

I never found strings to make much difference in my tone. There are too many other factors.

And when you ask a question like this, you will get answers from many with different opinions, because we all hear differently.

Yes, you need to start using nickle strings, they definitely sound warmer.
I don't know what kind of bar you are using but a chrome bar will also warm up your sound. Very Happy
