visting nashville 24th-27th of july-steel to see?

my wife and i are going to nashville for a vacation july 24th-27th. it'll be our first time there, and we have a big list of stuff to see.

i'm specifically interested in some recommendations for seeing some great steel players while i'm there.

The best area is around the Opryland hotel on Music Valley Dr. 3 to 4 clubs that have steel players most days/evenings. The Nashville Palace, John A's, Scoreboard & the Music City bar and grill. Easy parking & no downtown battle. But I'm sure you'll go down to Broadway too, but you'll here more stuff that leans towards Rock there, but some steel here and there with a few Traditional country stuff. PM me when you get to town.
