Bonjour steel guitar fans
Here is my new album that you might like, a steel guitar-piano duet recorded with jazz pianist Greg Ott.
« Electro Monk » features jazz pianist and avant-garde Thelonious Monk's tunes. We asked ourselves : what would Monk do nowadays ?
Our answer was the reunion of the pedal steel guitar and the piano rarely played this way together with a definite electro mood.
You can download « Electro Monk » and/or buy the CD by following this link :

Do not hesitate to leave a few words on the downloading site or facebook or whatever.
P.S. All of my steel albums, including « Electro Monk », are now available on my own bandcamp page : http://lionelwendling.bandcamp.com/

Holy Moly. That is fantastic. Some of the best jazz pedal steel playing I have ever heard. Very well done. Bravo _________________ Check out the Steel Guitar Union Hall Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@steelguitarunionhall |

This album is jaw-dropping amazing! It's Monk for the 21st century, featuring one of Europe's best pedal steel players. Congratulations, Lionel, on a stellar accomplishment. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
