I friend of mine has this National New Yorker that belonged to his mom. He thinks she played it in the 30s. No serial number. Anyone think they can help me?

He was saying family stories said 36. Thanks. He said she kinda wanted him to play it, but he fell in love with drums. He came to see me play lap steel this past weekend, and it made him remember that this was still in his closet.
Thanks. |

I am in shock. My friend has gifted this New Yorker to me. I am humbled for sure. |

Terry, that's a huge gift from your friend.
Post a clip,of you playing it here on the Forum and dedicate it to his Mom. |

I will be caretaker for this one. That is after all, what any of us are with these vintage, beautiful, historic instruments. |
