It occurred to me yesterday that I would really love a hard case with wheels for my Mullen Royal Precision D10.
What should I look for, and where should I look for it?
Thanks. |

You might check out the 'SKB' drum trap case; #SKB-H3611W, available from Musician's Friend. Foam will need to be added however to conform to your guitar. I used one for my Emmons D-10 when I was playing out and then sold it to a friend and fellow Forum member and it is still in use as far as I know. |

Also check with Bill Rudolph at Williams Guitars. I got a couple Unitech cases from him. He's a great guy to work with. I also have a Red Dirt case that really works great. |

Do those casters prevent you from standing the case up (with the hinge side down)? |

I ordered some of those, and just installed them on the case for my Mullen G2. It's got split cases; naturally I installed them on the one that holds the heavy part.
My only problem was that by the time I paid shipping and tax, they were $30 each, which seems a bit dear. But I only have to buy them once....
They look good and roll great. They protrude from the case at the end and bottom, which makes the case unstable. I put some rubber amp feet a little over 3/4" thick opposite the wheels, which seems to take care of the problem.
I put an amp handle on the other end to grab and roll it by. It will make this guitar a lot easier to carry around.

I bought David Nugent's SKB wheeled case. My main case for when I'm on the go. Yes, added the interior, and all my steels fit snugly! I use a separate padded carry bag for the legs & pedal bar. Just the case weighs way less than hardwood cases!
Sorry David ol' buddy. I'm a keepin' 'er!😆
