This is the first Keyless GFI I have owned wow the knobs for open tuning turn much easier than conventional keys, know I’m sold on Keyless GFI system.
Nice keyless D10 GFI with case an leg pouch.

Yes you can add a up knee to this steel it is pre drilled in frame for adding more knees.

Hi Johnie:
with this long 4th weekend you must be away from the computer and having fun with the family.
When you are back I hope you may have some deal ideas.
Also, I would like to know if the changer fingers are aluminum or stainless steel. I saw a note on her long ago that only the Ultra models had keyless and Ultra had stainless steel changer fingers. The Expo model, according to the post, did not offer keyless and had aluminum changer fingers.
I hope to hear from you when you are available.

Nice Keyless Johnnie! I also really like how you have a hole in your shipping box for the handle to stick out  Built like a tank too.
Dick, I can tell by the bell cranks that the keyless GFI is an early make and therefore has an aluminum changer. I've owned GFIs that had stainless steel changers and one with the earlier aluminum changer. Both sounded excellent and I didn't like one more than the other. I especially liked mine with alumitone pickups. They are great guitars.
This Keyless is a pre Ultra and Expo GFI and has a different changer. Some regard these guitars as the best sounding ones GFI ever made.
When GFI switched over to SS changers they used the excess aluminum fingers in the expo models only until they ran out. Currently they are only producing Ultra and Expo guitars with the same SS changer. |
