This tune was made famous by Hawaiian artist Noelani Cypriano and Jerry Byrd then made an instrumental steel guitar version. This is my version of a few years ago. All accompaniments are by my son, David. Interesting chords with a preponderance of suspended fourths..

Really nice Kay! I enjoyed that. Thanks for posting. I've been playing PSG for about 6 years now and find myself drawn to "straight" steel. Love the sound.

Grateful for the appreciation, Joe. Yes, the lap and pedal steel are quite different instruments with different sensitivities. I think the lap steel is more adaptable to different genres, though I can think of pedal steel artists like Buddy Emmons who could play anything from jazz to classical.

I find my pedal steel difficult to carry around nowadays, the lap steel is much lighter!

Keep picking!
