If you haven't had a chance to check out the TE Transit A or Transit B preamps and effects processors, please do so. I purchased a new Martin electric acoustic guitar that sounds excellent on its own, but when I plugged it into the Trace Transit A preamp, it opened a whole new world for my acoustic playing career. It increased my desire to do a solo act(and I have). It improved my playing technique and enthusiasm. Works well in my band also.

Try either of these effects preamps when you visit your music dealer.

Very cool. Any plans at Peavey for something similar for steel guitar?

Do you think the transit B would be a good tone shaper for steel? Better control than tone controls on the Elf?

Hello Richard,
I believe that the Transit A with the piezo button defeated would work better for the steel than the "B" because it is voiced more for electric acoustic guitar and the "notch" is approximately 600Hz.
