Cool clip Joachim going over Brian's gear.
I like the Firebird 7 he used for Satisfaction on the Sullivan show. I saw that performance on TV back in the day. What a heavy weight look the Stones had.
Back when gear and rockers were just deep and soulful.

I like this unusual colour of the Gretsch guitar

My sitar teacher, who passed away a year or so ago, gave Brian Jones a few lessons (he lived in London at the time). He did allude to some understandable...well, dissatisfaction with the unseriousness of the rock stars of the day...kinda evident in this video, ha!

I'm not in a place where I can hear the sound on this vid right now. But given its time, I'm guessing they were miming their performance. And if the Stones were forced to mime a performance, they were gonna be smartasses about it. And therefore my guess would be IF they were actually performing the music, they would be much more serious about it. |

That light green is a classic Gretsch color for the Anniversary model.
Kinda like black is to a p/p...There's a nice darker green on the back & sides.
Great link, Joachim. Thanks for that. |
