Does anyone know if Buddy was laid to rest or if he was cremated? Is there a memorial anywhere?

Is there a marker for Buddy somewhere? Someday, I'd like to pay my respects.

Someone may have different information, but I was told by someone in Nashville who had direct contact with Buddy’s kids that he was cremated and the ashes scattered along with Peggy’s in an undisclosed location. I certainly don’t want to start the rumor mill to running but the question has come up a couple times so figured I’d chime in with what I was told.

Ralph Mooney was one of coolest Steel players that I ever met. Loved his style or approach to the Steel Guitar, but he was such a genuine just Good Guy. He had a down to earth, everyday approach to people and just a Good man! I miss these Great Steel Guitarists!
