It's here it's here it's here! It feels like I've been waiting forever for my Melbert 8 string to be ready. Really it's only been about six weeks which is normal, but you know... perception. Speaking of perception. I'm blown away by the build quality, from the George L pickup to the Saga tuners to the solid mahogany body, the finish, the tone, the feel. Plus this is my first foray into the eight string world. Someone, anyone name me a place where you can get a custom instrument made of this quality for such a reasonable price. Bob Allen, a big tip of the hat to you sir. I love this instrument. Here's a pic of my first $100 Supro and my new killer $250 Melbert. Class act ya'll. Every step of the way.

As a builder of steel guitars myself, I really appreciate the time and quality work it takes to build a beautiful instrument like that. Kudos for Bob Allen and his craftsmanship.
